Siphokazi Menta

Siphokazi Menta, MBA (GIBS), has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Their most recent position was as the Group Head of Tax at AECI Limited, a role they held from October 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Group International Tax Manager at AECI Limited from April 2016.

Before their time at AECI Limited, Siphokazi worked as the Group Tax and Treasury Manager at MiX Telematics in January 2016. Siphokazi also gained valuable experience as the Tax Manager: Group Tax at MTN from May 2012 to December 2015.

Siphokazi's earlier career included working as a Tax Manager at Standard Bank from November 2008 to April 2012. In this role, they were responsible for advising and assisting Group Properties and Investment Banking with various tax-related matters.

Siphokazi Menta, MBA (GIBS), has an extensive education history that includes various degrees and certifications. In 2002-2005, they attended the University of Cape and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a field of study in Financial Accounting. Siphokazi further pursued their education at the University of Johannesburg, where they completed a Higher Diploma in Taxation Law in 2008-2009 and a Higher Diploma in International Tax in 2010. Continuing their studies, they attended the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2012-2013 and earned an Advanced Diploma in Transfer Pricing, focusing on taxation.

In 2018-2019, Siphokazi enrolled at the GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) and completed the Senior Management Development Programme, broadening their knowledge in business and commerce. Siphokazi returned to GIBS Business School in 2021 and obtained a Postgraduate Degree - PG.Dip (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General. Building on their academic achievements, they pursued a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree at GIBS Business School in 2022.

In addition to their educational background, Siphokazi has obtained certifications to further enhance their professional profile.
