Joshua Michelson

Joshua Michelson, CPA, CMA, currently serves as Director of Procurement, Contract & Finance Strategy at AECL, where responsibilities include overseeing financial and contract management strategies. Michelson has held various roles at AECL since 2012, transitioning from Financial Analyst to senior leadership positions. In addition to AECL, Michelson contributes as an External Audit Committee Member for the Renfrew County District School Board. Prior experience includes a senior consulting role at KPMG Canada and financial reporting at MNI. Michelson began the career with a summer position at Ontario Power Generation and has held a leadership position as Vice President of the Arts & Science Undergraduate Society. Educational qualifications include a CPA, CMA designation obtained between 2012 and 2014 and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queen's University, earned in 2011.
