Andrew Wilkins

Andrew Wilkins, PhD, RPA, is a Cultural Resources Specialist at AECOM since October 2022, following the acquisition of EMPSi in December 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Archaeologist at WSP USA from September 2014 to October 2022, previously with Louis Berger. Academic roles included Adjunct Instructor at the University of Mary Washington in 2014, alongside leadership of the UMW Field School in Archaeology, as well as Graduate Teaching Associate and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, between 2010 and 2014. Andrew's archaeological experience also encompasses roles as a Field Archaeologist with Gray & Pape, Inc., and at George Washington’s Ferry Farm. Educational credentials include a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee, a MA in Historical Archaeology from UMass Boston, and a BA in Historic Preservation from the University of Mary Washington.
