Hanna Uusitalo

Hanna Uusitalo is a seasoned professional in environmental management and sustainability with extensive experience across various sectors. At KONE since December 2008, Hanna has held roles as VP Environment & Sustainability and Environmental Director, focusing on corporate environmental excellence, strategy development, and sustainability reporting. Prior to this, Hanna was a Senior Advisor at the Finnish Ministry of Defence, specializing in environmental and risk management strategies, as well as health and safety. Hanna's academic background includes a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Technology from the University of Jyväskylä, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and ongoing doctoral studies in Management and Organizations at the University of Vaasa. Additional teaching roles have included lecturer positions at HAMK University of Applied Sciences and VAMK University of Applied Sciences, as well as project management in environmental consulting.
