Dennis has over 25 years of professional experience in safety, health and environmental program development, implementation and management. He started his career in the chemical processing industry where he worked in chemical manufacturing of resins and additives. Dennis earned a BS in biology/chemistry from MacMurray College and is a Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST) as well as a Certified Environmental, Safety and Health Trainer (CET) with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. He is a Licensed Safety Professional with NASP and holds advanced ASSE certificates in Global Safety Management and Risk Assessment. He currently serves on the Safety Construction Committee for NASSCO, is an SGE (Special Government Employee) for the OSHA VPP Program and serves on the National Safety Counsel’s construction advisory panel. He is also a frequent presenter at local ASSP conferences on safety programs and has been a co-presenter with Waterloo University on styrene exposures in CIPP. Outside of work, Dennis enjoys rock climbing and practices martial arts.
