Maria Bohsen

Maria Bohsen has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Maria is currently serving as the Director and Head of Research at Aegir Insights, where they are responsible for market research and analytics in the offshore wind sector. Prior to this, Maria worked as a Senior Advisor and Advisor at Dansk Energi from 2019 to 2021. Maria also worked as a Special Advisor and Economist at Forsyningstilsynet - Danish Utility Regulator from 2015 to 2019, where they were involved in various tasks including market monitoring, analysis, and supervision of the Danish gas market. Maria's previous roles include Analyst positions at Vestas and DONG Energy Wind Power, where they focused on market research and technical valuation in wind power finance respectively.

Maria Bohsen completed their BSc in Business Administration from Aarhus University from 2006 to 2009. Maria then pursued an MSc in International Economic Consulting from Aarhus University from 2009 to 2012. In 2010, they took part in an exchange program at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, where they focused on Economics and Finance. Maria also engaged in another exchange program in 2008 at RMIT University, specializing in Business Administration. In 2017, they attended the European University Institute for a brief period to study Energy Economics and Regulation.
