Jamie Taylor

Jamie Taylor serves as the President of AEGIS General Insurance Agency since June 2023, focusing on a National Lumber and Building Materials Program with A-rated carriers. Previously, Jamie held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Wholesale Production at American Lumber Underwriters, Inc., overseeing the merger of MIU and ALU and managing brand creation. Jamie also served as Senior Vice President at MIU, leading the underwriting division, and founded the Insurance Center for Building Materials, managing a program with full binding authority. Earlier roles include business development for Indiana Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Co. and various positions in property and casualty insurance at notable firms such as Chubb and American International Group. Jamie holds a BA in Political Geography from Colgate University.
