Fernand Schürmann

Fernand Schürmann has extensive experience in the asset management industry. Fernand began their career at ABN AMRO, holding various positions from 1986 to 1995. Fernand then joined ING Investment Management as a Director of Institutional Clients, where they successfully developed a sales strategy for Dutch institutional clients. In 2000, Fernand became the Managing Director at AXA Investment Managers, responsible for asset management activities and business development in the Benelux and Scandinavia. During their time at AXA, they reorganized portfolio management teams and transformed the Dutch office into a sales office. In 2003, Fernand moved to LODH as the Director of Professional Relations, leading institutional business development for the Benelux and Denmark and being a member of the European Marketing & Distribution Board. Fernand then joined Robeco in 2005 as the Head of Consultant Relations, significantly enhancing Robeco's standing with investment consultants. In 2013, Fernand joined Aegon Asset Management as the Commercial Director, overseeing sales and marketing activities in continental Europe and the Benelux, as well as managing their portfolio of clients and consultants. Fernand later took on the role of Partnership Relations Director, where they were responsible for developing business partnerships and optimizing product/market combinations on a global scale.

Fernand Schürmann holds a MSc degree in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
