Jeroen de Lange

Jeroen de Lange has a diverse work experience in the technology risk and control field. Jeroen started their career at ING Bank, where they participated in the International Talent Programme and held various positions, including IT Governance & Strategy Consultant and Information Risk Management Officer. In 2017, they joined Aegon as a Senior Risk Manager IT for Aegon Netherlands. Jeroen later became the Global Head of 2nd Line IT Risk, Information Security & Resilience for Aegon Asset Management. Currently, they serve as the Director of Technology Risk and Control for Aegon Global Technology Solutions, where they are responsible for leading and executing services within the First Line Risk Management sub function. Jeroen'srole involves providing subject matter expertise, mentorship, and coaching, as well as driving the long-term technology risk and control strategy across Aegon. Additionally, they research, recommends, and updates procedures and processes to enhance the technology risk & control function. Throughout their career, Jeroen has also been involved in external activities, such as being a core team member for StrICTly for Business, an event organized by members of the CIO Platform Netherlands.

Jeroen de Lange has a diverse education history. Jeroen holds an MSc in Information Management, an MSc in Business Administration, and a BSc in Business Informatics. Jeroen completed their Master's degree in Information Management at the University of Maryland from 2008 to 2010 and their Master of Science in Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University from 2006 to 2010. Jeroen obtained their Bachelor of Science in Information Communication Technology from Inholland University of Applied Sciences in 2006. Additionally, Jeroen has completed several certifications, including the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) from ISACA, the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) from IAPP, and others related to information security, privacy, and technology management.
