Tiemen De Vries has extensive work experience in compensation and benefits roles. Tiemen began their career as an intern at Rabobank, where they conducted strategic analysis of the Dutch packaging industry. Tiemen then worked as an intern at Procter & Gamble before joining Towers Perrin as an Associate Rewards. Tiemen later worked as a Business Consultant at First Consulting. In 2010, they joined Schiphol Group as a Compensation & Benefits Advisor, where they provided expertise in compensation and benefits for various stakeholders. Tiemen then moved on to Aegon Asset Management, where they served as the Global Compensation and Benefits Manager, responsible for proposing and implementing remuneration policies and advising local HR teams. Most recently, Tiemen worked at Aegon as the Global Head of Compensation and Benefits, overseeing the drafting of remuneration policies and reports and becoming an expert in EU and NL remuneration rules. Overall, Tiemen has demonstrated expertise and experience in the field of compensation and benefits.
Tiemen De Vries obtained their High School Diploma from Praedinius Gymnasium in the period between 1994 and 2000. Tiemen then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, earning a MSc. (ir.) in the same field of study from the University of Twente in the years 2000 to 2007. As a Minor, they briefly studied Psychology at California State University, Northridge in 2004.
