Jack Katz

VP, Risk Evaluation and Mitigation at AEI Consultants

As part of the executive leadership team for AEI’s Site Mitigation Division, Jack is responsible for national leadership within AEI’s Site Mitigation environmental investigation and risk evaluation practice. Dr. Katz joined AEI in 2016 and has 30 years of experience related to the performance of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Implementation of Cleanup Plans, Risk Assessments, Litigation support, Brownfields redevelopment, and design and implementation of investigations and remedial activities for both public sector and private group clients throughout the United States.

As part of his responsibilities, Jack provides technical leadership for subsurface investigations, including but not limited to soil, groundwater and vapor intrusion, as well as risk assessment support, environmental cost analyses, and remediation services.

Dr. Katz has a proven record of designing, implementing, and completing projects in a goal-oriented and deadline-driven profession, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and resolve complex issues among multiple entities with conflicting objectives and goals. His broad experience allows him the ability to manage a vast array of responsibilities, relying on a strong sense of organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Jack holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and Master’s and Doctorate Degrees in Environmental Science.
