Véronique Bodo

Head of R&D operations at Aelin Therapeutics

Véronique Bodo has worked in the biopharmaceutical industry since 1998. Véronique began their career as an intern at Sanofi, followed by a PhD Student and employee of IDM at the Institut Pasteur. In 2002, they joined IDM Pharma as a Senior Scientist and was responsible for preclinical studies on a therapeutic vaccine for the treatment of bladder cancer. From 2007 to 2017, they worked at STALLERGENES GREER as the Head of the Immunology Department and was accountable for the definition and implementation of the biomarker strategy in 8 different phase I to III clinical trials. In 2017, they joined iTeos Therapeutics SA as the Head of Translational Medicine (Director) and was responsible for building the TM team from 5 people to 17, and for the definition, implementation and analysis of results of the PK/PD/Biomarker strategy in 7 different phase I and II clinical trials. In 2022, they are set to join Aelin Therapeutics as the Head of R&D operations.

Véronique Bodo obtained their PhD in Immunology from AgroParisTech in 2002. From 1995 to 1998, they obtained their Master's degree in engineering from AgroParisTech, specializing in Agronomy- Biochenistry. Véronique also attended the Lycée Sainte Geneviève - Versailles from 1993 to 1995 for a preparatory class for entrance to "Grandes Ecoles".
