Brian Hoover

Brian Hoover has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Brian started their career as an E-learning Manager at Schlumberger in 1991 and remained in that role until 2000. Following that, they joined Web2Web Marketing as a CTO, leading a software development team and working on various projects related to software development.

In 2002, Brian Hoover transitioned to the University of Phoenix where they worked as an Online Facilitator, teaching various IT and e-Business courses. Brian taught over 2000 adult learners and helped them embrace technology and its impact on organizations.

From 2013 to 2015, Brian was self-employed and worked as a Consultant. During this time, they took on various projects such as creating technology strategies for startups, optimizing SQL queries, refactoring Java applications, and implementing Agile Development and Test Driven Development.

Most recently, Brian Hoover joined AEM as a Senior Web Developer in 2015, where they are currently employed.

Brian Hoover earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1989 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in "Exploratory Data Analysis" and "Creative, Serious and Playful Science of Android Apps" from Coursera in August 2014 and February 2014, respectively.
