Heather Johnson-Snyder, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Heather Johnson-Snyder, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Heather currently holds the position of Chief People Officer at AEM starting in January 2022. Prior to this role, Heather worked at Earth Networks where they held the position of Vice President of Human Resources from March 2015 to January 2022. Before that, at Earth Networks, they served as an HR Business Partner from June 2012 to March 2015. Heather also gained valuable experience at Lockheed Martin as they held various positions in human resources from October 2008 to June 2012. Heather worked as an Employment Manager at Rydex Investments from February 2008 to October 2008. Previously, they served as a Human Resource Generalist at The Frederick News Post from December 2004 to February 2008, and as a Contract Recruiter at CitiMortgage from August 2004 to December 2004. Heather's early career included various positions in human resources at ACS Government Solutions from May 1999 to August 2004.

Heather Johnson-Snyder, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has a Master of Science degree in Management/HR from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Heather completed their master's degree from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Human Resources from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they obtained from 1997 to 1998.

Heather has also obtained two certifications in the field of HR. In January 2015, they received the SHRM-SCP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Heather also obtained the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in January 2015.
