Joel O'Camb has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Joel started their career as an Air Quality Technician at Sonoma Technology, Inc., where they quickly gained responsibility and conducted quantitative analysis of collected data. Joel then worked at Weathernews America Inc., where they held various managerial roles, including Manager of Global Customer Service and Manager of Mobile and Software Services. In these positions, they developed world-class call centers, implemented customer support organizations, and managed mobile and software services. Joel also founded Ag Weather Solutions, an innovative start-up that provided detailed weather forecasts and pest management services to the agriculture industry. Additionally, they served as the Director of Customer Success at PureSense Environmental, Inc., overseeing customer service, support, and training for a groundwater and weather monitoring start-up. Prior to that, they were the Club Director at Miramonte Cycling Club and a Consultant at Qwikcast.com. Joel'smost recent position was at AEM, where they worked as Sales Engineering Support. Throughout their career, Joel has demonstrated strong managerial skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service.
Joel O'Camb completed a New Venture Training program in Business Plan Development & Implementation at the Small Business Development Center in 2009. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Science Program (EBT) in Meteorology with a focus on Orographic Wind Models at San Jose State University. Joel also earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a Minor in Computer Science from California State University, Chico.
