Jose Luis Camacho Ruiz

Jose Luis Camacho Ruiz has extensive experience in meteorology, currently serving as a Technical Advisor and temporary Territorial Delegate at AEMET - Agencia Estatal de Meteorología since September 2022. As a Scientific Officer specializing in Agricultural Meteorology at the World Meteorological Organization since March 2011, Jose Luis has contributed significantly to the field. Previously, from October 1980 to February 2011, several posts were held at AEMET. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry and Climatology from Alcalá de Henares University, a Master's degree in Geophysics and Meteorology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and a second PhD in Atmospheric Physics and Dynamics, Climate Variability, and Advanced Statistical Tools from the University of Alcalá de Henares.
