Ethan Quan

Ethan Quan is a Mechanical Engineering student at UC San Diego, expected to graduate in 2025, with extensive experience in engineering roles across various organizations. Currently serving as an Instructional Assistant in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department and an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Structural Engineering Department at UC San Diego, Ethan has also held leadership positions within SEDS UCSD, overseeing engineering project teams and managing significant budgets. Noteworthy contributions include leading structural design for the "Halya" liquid rocket and serving as an Engineering Intern at SpaceX, focusing on Falcon composites. Prior experience includes roles at Dynovas, Triton Robotics, and Galileo Robotics, where Ethan demonstrated skills in structural design, project management, and advanced manufacturing techniques. Ethan's academic prowess is further validated by participation in the Chancellor's Scholars Program and prior leadership roles in robotics.
