Kang Chew

Kang Chew has extensive experience in the energy market sector, currently serving as Manager of Registrations, Monitoring & Procurement at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since November 2015, after holding various roles including A/Manager and Specialist in WA Market Reforms. Prior to AEMO, Kang worked at the Independent Market Operator (IMO) from November 2012 to November 2015 as a Market/Settlements Analyst and held earlier positions as a Settlement Analyst and Market Operator. An earlier role at Sygnum Financial Services involved providing business advisory services, financial statement preparation, bookkeeping, and audit services. Kang Chew holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Curtin University and a Bachelor's degree in Science with majors in Physiology and Microbiology from The University of Western Australia, complemented by completion of the CPA Australia Program from 2015 to 2020.
