Nicole Dodd

Nicole Dodd has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Manager of DER and Retail Reform at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since February 2015, where responsibilities include progressing market reform for Essential System Services and integrating Distributed Energy Resources. Previous roles at AEMO encompassed positions such as Principal Analyst and Senior Analyst in Market Design, focusing on innovative market designs for the National Electricity Market (NEM). Earlier experience includes a Graduate Engineer role involving updates to the Natural Gas Services Bulletin Board and an internship at Lithicon that involved project management system development. Nicole also contributed to academia at the Australian National University, where roles included Engineering Student Ambassador and Research Assistant, developing analytical skills and facilitating peer learning. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Renewable Energy Systems and Physics from The Australian National University.
