Calvin Chen

Calvin Chen has worked in the IT field since 2001. Calvin began their career at Verizon/NYNEX Science & Technology as a Technical Manager/Senior Technical Manager, where they lead IT teams in developing and supporting telecom operation support systems. Calvin then moved to Verizon in 2012, where they worked as Senior Manager and Associate Director of Information Technology. In these roles, they successfully lead IT teams and provided enterprise system architecture for transformational changes in moving legacy systems from in-house data centers to AWS cloud, utilizing Agile methodology and Devops CI/CD process & tools. Calvin also re-architected Engineering & Construction systems for Verizon in support of aggressive 5G network buildouts. In 2018, they joined Aeongo Technologies as CEO/CTO & Chief Architect, where they secured seed funding, built business and IT teams from 0 to over 40 team members internationally, and architected and lead the team in development and deployment of 2 SAAS platforms with 8 Mobile applications. Calvin also signed a clinical trial contract.

Calvin Chen received a Master's degree in Computer Science from NYU Tandon School of Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Brooklyn College.
