Walt Sirmans

Walt Sirmans has an extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Walt began their career at Pratt & Whitney in 1984 as a Senior Program Manager and stayed with the company for almost 18 years. Walt then moved on to Lockheed Martin in 2002, where they served as the Director of Aircraft Sustainment Programs for 5 years. In 2007, they joined GKN Aerospace as the Vice President of Programs and worked there for 2 years. Walt further expanded their expertise at Sabreliner Corporation as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 2009 to 2011. Sirmans then joined Aequs Pvt. Ltd., where they held multiple roles including Group EVP, Chief Operating Officer, President of Corporate Strategy & Ventures, and President of Advanced Technology Products, before leaving in 2023. Walt'smost recent position is the Chief Executive Officer at NWI Aerostructures.

Walt Sirmans obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in the years 1980 to 1984. In 2000, they completed the Emerging Leaders Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. In 2010, Walt Sirmans pursued the Executive Integral Leadership program at the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business. Additionally, they received the title of 2011 Honorary Alumnus from Bryan College.
