Mark Clerkin

Mark Clerkin is a financial reporting accountant at Aer Lingus since March 2021, bringing prior experience as a senior associate in the Risk Assurance Solutions practice at PwC Ireland from June 2016 to March 2021. During the tenure at PwC, Mark led teams in financial auditing, internal auditing, and IT auditing while participating in various audit engagements across the aircraft leasing, insurance, and banking sectors as a Banking & Capital Markets Assurance intern. Mark's early career includes roles such as economics class representative at UCD Students' Union, sales assistant at Applegreen PLC, and clerical officer at St Vincent's Private Hospital. Mark holds an ACA certification in accounting from Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University College Dublin. Additionally, Mark contributed as a volunteer English language teacher in Thailand in the summer of 2016.
