Melanie Hansen

Melanie Hansen currently serves as the Chief Legal and Administrative Officer at Aera Energy LLC, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Melanie held various senior legal positions at SOURCE Global from December 2018 to November 2023, including General Counsel and EVP, People, as well as Chief Legal Officer and EVP, People. Melanie’s experience also includes serving as General Counsel at Massage Envy from August 2013 to January 2019, and Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at Esio Beverage Company from July 2011 to July 2013. Earlier in Melanie's career, Melanie served as District Team Leader at Target Corporation from September 2007 to June 2011, General Counsel at Cold Stone Creamery from 2003 to 2007, and as an Associate Lawyer at Gallagher & Kennedy from July 1999 to December 2003. Melanie holds an LLM in Taxation from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (1997-1998) and a JD/LLM in Corporate and Tax Law from Washburn University School of Law (1995-1997).
