Sean O'Connor

Sean O'Connor has extensive experience in the energy industry, with a focus on geology and strategy. Sean currently holds a position at Aera Energy LLC as the CCS Strategy & Feasibility Lead, where Sean is responsible for developing asset decarbonization strategies and project feasibility assessments. Sean also has experience as a Geologic Advisor, Manager of Growth and Land, and Strategy Team Lead within the same company. Prior to joining Aera Energy LLC, Sean worked at ConocoPhillips as a Geoscientist focusing on the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico sub-salt play. Sean holds a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from UC Santa Barbara.
