Brendan Cleary

Brendan Cleary has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Their most recent position is with AerCap as a Treasury Analyst, where they began in May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at AIG as a Treasury Senior Analyst from September 2021 to May 2022. Brendan also had a notable tenure at Sodexo, where they served as a Corporate Treasury Analyst from September 2017 to August 2021. Before that, they worked at Cook Medical Europe as an EMEA Finance Support in French-speaking Europe from January 2015 to September 2017. Brendan also gained experience as a Hedge Fund Accountant at Citco Fund Services from August 2014 to January 2015. During their time at Glass, Lewis & Co., they worked as a Proxy Research Associate in the French market from November 2013 to August 2014. Brendan also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Limerick from September 2012 to September 2013, and as an Intern (Stagiaire Administratif) at Alstom Power from January 2010 to July 2010. Early in their career, Brendan worked as a Credit Controller at ESB from May 2009 to August 2009.

Brendan Cleary completed their education at the University of Limerick, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in French and Economics in the years 2008 to 2012. Brendan later pursued a Master's Degree in French Language and Literature, which they completed in 2013. As part of their academic journey, Brendan also took part in a Study Abroad program at the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour in 2010, where they focused on Teaching English or French as a Second or Foreign Language. Additionally, Brendan has obtained certifications in Advanced Excel from Direct Training Ireland, in Treasury Fundamentals from the Association of Corporate Treasurers, and in Level 1 Norwegian Language from the Sandford Language Institute.
