Jan-Willem Dekkers

Jan-Willem Dekkers is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in corporate tax management and board governance. Since 2004, Jan-Willem has been a Board Member and Head of Tax at AerCap Netherlands BV, where responsibilities include overseeing the global corporate tax position and managing a team of international tax specialists across multiple countries. Previous roles include board memberships at AerLift Leasing Ltd and AerDragon Bangkok Leasing BV, as well as senior positions at Van der Moolen NV, The Pleswin Entertainment Group BV, Vedior, and KPMG Meijburg & Co. Jan-Willem holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Economics and an LLM in Tax Law from the University of Amsterdam, a BBA in Business Administration from Nyenrode Business University, and a postgraduate controller's program from the same institution. Additionally, Jan-Willem completed an executive education program at INSEAD in 2019.
