Frederick Lamont Norman

Frederick Lamont Norman has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Frederick Lamont began their career in 1993 as a Localization Engineer at ILE. In 1995, they joined Lockheed Martin as a Software Engineer. In 1997, they co-founded Datria Systems, providing data collection solutions using innovative speech recognition capabilities. Frederick Lamont provided sales and technical support, as well as staff and customer training, while also co-designing and developing software product offering technology solutions for clients with minimal programming resources. In 2000, they joined Idea Integration as a Consultant, leveraging their software engineering and GIS skills to provide consulting expertise and solutions to clients representing diverse industry verticals. In 2004, they joined the Bureau of Land Management as a Senior GIS Analyst/Consultant, providing GIS related technical support and consulting to National, State and Regional BLM offices. In 2019, they joined Precisely as a Senior Product Manager, leading Big Data and Cloud Native products and delivering product SDKs with Spark APIs and Kubernetes with infrastructure for easier integration. In 2021, they joined Mapware as a Director of Product Management and Principal Product Manager, focused on Department of Defense solutions, and then joined Verizon as a Senior Product Manager, leading classic API product migration. Frederick Lamont is currently a Principal Product Manager - Consultant at Anchor Point Group.

Frederick Lamont Norman obtained a MA in Geography from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1999 and a BA in Creative Writing and Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1988.
