Negar Ghourchian

Negar Ghourchian has worked in a variety of roles in the research and development field. Negar began their career in 2007 as a Research Assistance at Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec - Institut national de la recherche scientifique. In 2010, they moved to McGill University as a Research Assistant. In 2014, they worked as a Research Scientist Intern at T-Labs, Telekom Innovation Laboratories. Since 2015, they have been with Aerial Technologies, where they have held the roles of VP Research & Development, Director of AI, Senior Research and Data Scientist, and Machine Learning Scientist.

Negar Ghourchian completed their Engineer's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University between 2000 and 2005. Negar then went on to pursue their Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Université du Québec - Institut national de la recherche scientifique between 2007 and 2009. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from McGill University between 2010 and 2016.
