Iris McKinney has worked in various roles since 2001. Iris began their career as an Office Manager at Preston Contracting Company, where they handled payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, company checkbooks, reconciliations of accounts, setting up new project files, and handling incoming calls. In 2002, they moved to PacificCare Insurance as a Billing Specialist. In 2005, they joined Jokake Construction Services, Inc. as a Sr Associate. Finally, in 2019, they became Office Manager at AerialSphere.

Iris McKinney attended Johnson County Community College from 1972 to 1973, studying Business Administration and Management, General. In 2015, they obtained a Real Colors Facilitator certification from NCTI.
