Mitch Eaton

Mitch Eaton has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in engineering, devops, and IT support.

Mitch is currently the Director of Engineering at Aero, where they lead a team of 10 engineers and is responsible for developing features to drive the company's future growth. Mitch also architectured and migrated the company's backend to an industry standard solution and implemented a data warehouse drawing on multiple data sources.

Prior to Aero, Mitch was an Engineering Manager at the same company, overseeing the engineering team. Mitch also worked as a Senior Backend Engineer at Aero, where they built API's and administrative tools in Elixir and led a team of 7 remote backend engineers.

Before joining Aero, Mitch worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at SwoopMe, Inc., where they developed and executed the plan for moving to Heroku Private Spaces and Dockerized the app and dependencies. Mitch also managed and improved the company's CI with Circle.

Prior to SwoopMe, Mitch worked at InSite Applications, LLC as a Production DevOps Engineer, creating and managing the infrastructure for all production services and maintaining Kubernetes clusters on Google Cloud.

Mitch also worked at Westfield Labs as a Production Engineer, where they developed internal API's and software, Dockerized the production stack, and created a self-service portal for dockerized applications. Before that, Mitch worked at Yammer, Inc. as an Internal Services Engineer, maintaining and overseeing *nix based systems and servers, developing internal software, and managing virtualization servers.

Mitch's earlier experience includes working as an IT Administrator at Pocket Gems, a Senior IT Technician at The Barbarian Group, and a Genius at Apple, where they provided customer/technical support and trained new employees.

Mitch also worked as a Front-End Web Developer (Contract) at Ethos Media, coding CSS/HTML for multiple projects, and as an IT Specialist at Virtual Valuation Solutions, providing technical support and managing the network for a real estate appraisal firm.

Mitch Eaton attended Orange Coast College from 2005 to 2007. However, no information is available about the degree or field of study pursued during this time.
