Emily Gee has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications. Emily has worked at AeroFarms as the Marketing Director, where they led successful marketing campaigns and corporate communications for nationwide retailer launches and new product launches. Emily also led the opening of AeroFarms Danville and AeroFarms AgX, the world's largest vertical farm and R+D indoor farm, respectively. Prior to their role as Marketing Director, they served as the Associate Marketing Director, Senior Marketing Manager, and Marketing Communications Manager at AeroFarms.
Before joining AeroFarms, Emily worked at Grades of Green as the Co-Executive Director and Director of Global Programs. In these positions, they led the organization's growth and impact strategy, developed and implemented annual strategic frameworks, and led communications strategies resulting in expansion of social media following and media coverage.
Additionally, Emily has worked as a GAP VIII Project Fellow at USC Annenberg Center for Public Relations, a Client Service Intern at APCO Worldwide, a Lead Researcher at the University of Southern California, and as a Media Intern at the Center for the Study of Immigrant Integration.
Earlier in their career, they also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California and Los Angeles Times, where they conducted research on televised campaign advertisements and analyzed data. Emily also gained experience as an Account Intern at Saeger Media Group.
Emily Gee completed their education with a Master's Degree in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Southern California in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the same university in Public Relations, Political Science, and Environmental Science. Emily'seducation journey started with a High School Diploma from Mira Costa High School in 2008.
