Egils Gecis

Egils Gecis has had a range of work experiences in various companies.

Starting in 2011, they worked as an Engineer Designer at Olimps Ltd. until May 2015.

From May 2015 to July 2018, they served as the Head of the R&D Department at Mass Portal.

After that, they joined Purpose AM Systems as the Chief Technology Officer from July 2018 to June 2019.

Their most recent role is as the Chief Mechanical Engineer in Research and Development at Aerones, which they started in November 2019.

Egils Gecis pursued their education at Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) where they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies/Technicians from 2008 to 2011. Following this, they went on to earn a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology/Technician from the same university, studying from 2011 to 2013.
