Cristina Leone

Cristina Leone serves as the Senior Vice President of Projects, Grants and Agencies at Leonardo, where responsibilities include directing projects aimed at securing funding for technological innovation and R&D activities, particularly within Leonardo Labs. With extensive experience in promoting EU funding programmes and fostering relationships with research institutions, Cristina has held leadership roles in various organizations, including as President of CTNA and as a member of multiple expert groups under the European Commission. Active in the aerospace and defense sectors, Cristina is involved with the Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe and has contributed to national security initiatives through the founding of SERIT. Educational background includes a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Remote Sensing from Sapienza Università di Roma.
