Global Head of Business Development

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Global Head of Business Development. The Global Head of Business Development will be responsible for managing, coaching, and driving the performance of our Business Development Representatives to generate new business opportunities and contribute to our company's revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, manage, and coach a global team of Business Development Representatives to achieve and exceed opportunity generation targets.
  2. Develop and implement effective sales development strategies, including prospecting, lead generation, and qualification processes.
  3. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align BDR activities with overall company objectives and campaigns.
  4. Monitor and analyze team performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to sales and marketing leadership.
  5. Foster a positive, high-energy, and goal-oriented team culture that encourages continuous learning and development.
  6. Recruitment, onboard, and train of new BDR team members.
  7. Ensure proper use of CRM systems and other tools, maintaining accurate data and reporting.
  8. Develop outbound email and call cadences to improve outreach effectiveness.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a BDR or sales development role, with at least 1 year in a team lead or management position.
  3. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and successfully managing sales teams.
  4. Strong understanding of enterprise software, SaaS, or related industries.
  5. Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  6. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  7. Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, etc.).
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  9. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  10. Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, SPIN Selling, or Challenger Sales is a plus.
