Tom Meese

Tom Meese has over 20 years of work experience in various leadership and executive positions. Tom is currently the Vice President of Cloud Services at Aerospike, Inc. where they are responsible for overseeing the company's cloud services. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Global Client Services at Aerospike, where they led and managed client services for their real-time NoSQL database platform.

Before joining Aerospike, Tom worked at ProKarma as the Vice President of Enterprise Solutions. In this role, they led global professional services for named accounts in the Portland market. Tom was responsible for defining and executing solution strategies, managing customer relationships, and project execution across various domains such as Data Science, BI, Test Automation, ERP, and Dev Ops.

Tom also has experience at Janrain, Inc. where they served as the Senior Vice President of Operations, overseeing professional services, customer success, engineering, and sales engineering. Prior to that, they worked as an Executive Consultant at Mundo Pato, Inc.

Tom's extensive career also includes serving as the President and Executive Leader at Axian, where they led all aspects of service delivery, defined go-to-market strategies, and achieved significant revenue growth. Tom was also a Senior Product Manager at Equilibrium, responsible for product development and creating a SaaS and On-Prem offering.

Early in their career, Tom worked at Intel Corp. as a Technical Marketing Engineer and Program Manager. Tom developed strategic marketing programs to engage independent software vendors and optimize software tools for Intel chipsets. Tom also worked at Willamette Industries, Inc. as an Accounting Controls/IT Consultant.

Throughout their career, Tom has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a track record of achieving business growth and success.

Tom Meese received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Portland State University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they pursued Business Administration at Notre Dame de Namur University from 1989 to 1991. In terms of additional certifications, Tom obtained several certifications from various institutions. These include Aerospike Administration, Aerospike Support Certification, and Strong Consistency Mode in Aerospike from Aerospike, Inc. in January 2019. Tom also earned the ScrumMaster certification from Scrum Alliance in June 2016. Tom's education history and certifications demonstrate a strong background in computer science and a focus on obtaining relevant industry certifications.
