Nidia Mendez Joy

Nidia Mendez Joy is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in commercial finance and compliance. Currently serving as Commercial Finance Manager and DBE/ACDBE Liaison Officer at Aerostar Airport Holdings, LLC since October 2013, Nidia is responsible for developing and overseeing the Disadvantaged Business Enterprises program in accordance with federal regulations, while also gathering and reporting necessary statistical data. Prior roles include Administrator at the House of Legislative, Senior Auditor - Compliance at Barreras Méndez & Associates, Finance and Human Resources Director at Supermercado Econo Vega Alta, and Account Payable at Colgate Palmolive. Nidia holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus and has participated as a PM Instructor for the PMP Preparation Course.
