Bill Donovan

Bill Donovan serves as Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering at AeroVironment, with a tenure beginning in June 2019. Prior to this role, Bill was Chief Technical Officer at Pulse Aerospace, LLC from August 2011 to June 2019. Bill's earlier experience includes a position as Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Kansas, where Bill led the design of an Unmanned Aircraft System for remote sensing in extreme environments. Additionally, Bill was a Managing Partner at Viking Aerospace, LLC from May 2005 to July 2011, and briefly worked as a Design Engineer at The Boeing Company in 2003, focusing on 737 sustain engineering. Bill holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Kansas.
