Bri Leahy

Bri Leahy serves as the Sr. Staff Airworthiness Engineer at AeroVironment since November 2023, leading the establishment of an Airworthiness team within the medium UAS division, focusing on Military Type Certification and airworthiness releases. In addition to this role, Bri operates Leahy Consulting, LLC, providing expertise in airworthiness and certification for uncrewed aircraft systems since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Zipline as Aircraft Certification Manager, Volansi as Senior Aircraft Certification Project Manager, and Epic Aircraft as Senior Certification Engineer. Notably, Bri held the position of Director of Certification at Simplex Aerospace, overseeing FAA certification efforts, and contributed to Boeing as a Senior Systems Stress Analyst and Flight Control System Design Engineer. Bri holds a cum laude BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
