David Thompson

David Thompson is a seasoned mechanical engineer with over two decades of experience in the aerospace and telecommunications industries. Currently serving as Principal Mechanical Engineer at AeroVironment since April 2002, David has previously held positions as a Mechanical Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent from June 1999 to April 2002 and as an Aircraft Technician at Continental Airlines from July 1990 to November 1994. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, obtained between 1996 and 1999, and an Airframe and Powerplant Certification from Northrop University, completed from 1988 to 1990.
