Jim Huefner

Jim Huefner currently serves as the Director of Business Development at AeroVironment since September 2022. Prior to this role, Jim Huefner was an Unmanned Aircraft Systems Requirements Officer at the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations from August 2018 to September 2022, focusing on project management for unmanned systems. Jim Huefner has extensive experience in the United States Marine Corps, where roles included Executive Officer of VMU-2, Marine Corps Instructor, and Cobra Pilot with various responsibilities in aviation maintenance, safety, and training. Jim Huefner holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on defense from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from The Ohio State University.
