Libby Jones

Libby Jones is an experienced AeroMechanical Engineer currently employed at AeroVironment, focusing on the aerodynamic, structural, and mechanical design, fabrication, and testing of UAVs since June 2018. Prior roles include Design Engineer at Scaled Composites, LLC, where Libby was responsible for landing gear design, testing, and project management. An internship at Boeing provided exposure to production support for the 777 airplane assembly, and various positions during academic years involved leadership and technical roles in UAV projects with institutions such as MIT, NASA, and Lincoln Laboratory. Libby holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
