Ron Joven Pmp

Ron Joven, PhD PMP, serves as a Senior Staff Engineer in Airframe and Composites Design with a focus on High Altitude Pseudo Satellites at AeroVironment since May 2019. Previously, Ron held positions as a Senior Engineer in Structures and Composites at Terrafugia and as an Engineer in Global Engineering and Innovation at The Manitowoc Company. Earlier experience includes roles as a Technical Consultant at Daetec, LLC, and Graduate Research Associate at both Wichita State University and Universidad de los Andes. Ron earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Wichita State University and has additional degrees including a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Ron also pursued professional education in Polymeric Materials, Processing, and Nanocomposites at Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
