William Tokumaru

William Tokumaru is an experienced Autonomy Software Engineer at AeroVironment since February 2023, with prior leadership as Head of Software Engineering at Posh Robotics and as a Software Development Consultant at TriNet. At Symbio Robotics, William held various roles, including Staff Engineering Manager, where management of the Framework Team led to significant revenue-generating projects. William’s technical expertise spans being a Principal Engineer on notable projects and being among the first developers during the company’s early funding phases. Earlier experience includes a research assistant position at Berkeley Lab and leadership roles in the Society of Physics Students and UC Berkeley's Physics program, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley.
