Omar Tavarez

Omar Tavarez has held various engineering roles throughout their work experience. Omar started their career as the Head of Engineering at Treadstone Performance Engineering INC. from January 2010 to January 2014. Omar then worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Summit Aerospace from June 2012 to December 2018. Following that, they joined GA Telesis as an Engineering Manager from January 2019 to July 2022, and subsequently became the Director of Engineering from July 2022 to June 2023. Currently, they are the Director of Engineering at AerSale, Inc. starting from June 2023.

Omar Tavarez attended the University of Michigan from 2005 to 2009, studying Mechanical Engineering. Omar then transferred to Florida International University and graduated in 2013 with a BSE in Mechanical Engineering.
