Robbert-Jan Willems

Robbert-Jan Willems currently serves as the Manager of the Crane Division at Aertssen Group, a position held since April 2022. Prior to this role, Robbert-Jan worked as the Project and Business Development Manager for the Middle East and Asia at Alfred Talke Logistic Services from January 2020 to April 2022. Robbert-Jan's experience at Aertssen Group from September 2013 to January 2020 includes serving as Deputy General Manager and Project Manager. An internship at Jan De Nul in 2009 provided initial exposure to the industry at a shipyard in Tianjin, China. Robbert-Jan's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Electromechanical Engineering from KU Leuven Ghent Campus, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Ghent University, and completion of an Erasmus Exchange Program at Universitat de Girona. Further studies at INSEAD and Vlerick Business School focused on management and business development.
