Iván Diego Durontó

Iván Diego Durontó has a diverse work experience in the legal and regulatory field. From 2006 to present, they have been working at AES Argentina Generación S.A., where they initially served as the Legal & Regulatory Affairs Manager for the companies of the generation business of AES Corp. in Argentina. In this role, they actively participated in the successful debt restructuring of the AES Parana Plant and supervised the drafting and advising of various agreements related to coal purchase, gas purchase, and electricity selling. Currently, they hold the position of Director de Asuntos Legales y Regulatorios - Compliance Officer.

Prior to AES Argentina, Iván worked at EDELAP S.A. for four years, from 2002 to 2006, as the Chief of Legal Department. Iván Diego reported directly to the General Director and played a crucial role in the successful renegotiation of the Concession Agreement with the Ministry of Economy.

Before joining EDELAP S.A., Iván gained experience as an Associate at Klein & Franco Abogados. Iván Diego worked there from 2000 to 2001.

Overall, Iván has amassed an extensive and comprehensive background in legal and regulatory affairs through their various roles in different companies.

Iván Diego Durontó completed a Postgraduate program in Economics and Finance for Lawyers at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Business Law at Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires from 1999 to 2000. Iván Diego'sundergraduate studies were focused on Business Law, as they obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 1997.
