Pedro Mata

Pedro Mata has extensive experience in the information technology field, spanning several companies. Pedro started their career at Electricidad de Caracas as a Data Center Manager from 2000 to 2005. Pedro then moved on to AES El Salvador, where they served as IT Director from 2006 to 2014. Following this, they joined AES MCA&C as an IT Director, overseeing multiple countries and power generation plants from 2014 to 2019. Currently, Pedro is the Chief Information Officer at AES-Gener, leading the digital transformation efforts for AES South America Headquarters and establishing a Center of Excellence in Argentina for delivering digital services globally.

Pedro Mata attended the Universidad Nacional Experimental Simón Bolívar from 1982 to 1987, where they earned an Engineer degree in Information Technology.
