Rodion Emelyan

Rodion Emelyan is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and renewable energy law. Currently serving as Associate General Counsel at The AES Corporation for both M&A and Commercial Transactions, as well as AES Clean Energy, Rodion previously held the position of Senior Counsel for Distributed Energy. Prior to these roles, Rodion served as Counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and as a Project Finance Associate at Chadbourne & Parke LLP. Early in the career, Rodion gained valuable experience as a Senior Auditor at EY. Rodion holds a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from Boston University's Questrom School of Business.
