Stephanie Cathcart

Stephanie Cathcart has a strong background in communications and public affairs. Stephanie is currently working as the Vice President of Communications at The AES Corporation since March 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Managing Director at Locust Street Group (LSG) from December 2020 to January 2023. From July 2017 to March 2020, Stephanie was the Global Head of External Affairs at Baker Hughes. Before that, they held various positions at GE, including Global Head of External and Public Affairs for GE Oil & Gas and Communications Leader for Sub-Saharan Africa. Stephanie also has experience working at the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), U.S. Department of Labor, 55th Presidential Inaugural Committee, and the President George W. Bush Re-election Campaign/Bush-Cheney '04. Stephanie began their career at Edelman, where they worked as a Senior Account Executive.

Stephanie Cathcart attended Drake University from 1996 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism & Mass Communications.
