Theresa Carroll

Theresa Carroll has extensive experience in permitting and real estate in the energy industry. Theresa is currently the Vice President of Permitting and Real Estate for AES Clean Energy, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Director of Permitting and Real Estate at AES Corporation from August 2021 to August 2022, and as a Director of Permitting from January 2021 to August 2021. Theresa has also held roles in permitting at sPower, Terra-Gen LLC, and Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. Additionally, they worked as a Director at Fontana Energy Associates, providing development support for energy projects. Early in their career, they served as a Senior Biologist at CH2M Hill and URS Corporation, specializing in biological surveys and evaluations.

Theresa Carroll earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a specialization in Marine Science from the University of San Diego, where they studied from 1995 to 1999.
